To collect taxes through Telebirr, Ethiopia collaborates with Ethio

A digital payment system named TeleBirr that enables companies and other people to pay their taxes has been launched by the Ministry of Revenues in collaboration with Ethio Telecom. A simple and safe digital payment platform is now available to taxpayers as a result of the partnership to deploy the digital system. 

The state-owned telecom service provider claimed that the solution will assist firms in receiving clearance and receipts following real-time payment.
