Update for B2C and B2B e-reporting in France as of July 2024

New technical rules for French B2C and B2B e-reporting will go into effect in July 2024. 

New technical instructions have been released by the French General Directorate of Public Finance in preparation for the mandatory electronic invoicing and reporting regime’s first phase, which will begin on July 1st, 2024. This most recent round consists of: 

  • new examples of templates, including intermediaries and factoring 
  • updated supplementary documents 
  • how to update and make corrections for electronic reporting flows 
  • required format for VAT Groups invoices 
  • information about file formats and mappings 
  • details of the API specifications 

 

Effective date: 1 July 2024
