Greece: My DATA e-book and e-invoices update

Type: Draft Legislation

January 2024 marks the launch of myData transmission via ERP.

Currently being upgraded for users reporting via ERPs is the Greek My Digital Accounting and Tax Application (“myData”) invoicing and bookkeeping system. Beginning on January 1, 2024, live reporting (essentially the same day as sales invoice issue) will replace the previous necessity for delivery of summary data from the Greek tax authority, AADE. Taxpayers who submit their returns manually, through cash registers, or through a portal upload are unaffected.

Effective date: 1 January 2024
